It's like Half-Life 1, only you have fewer weapons and enemy types in general, but in return you receive more story segments and physics puzzles. The animations and voice acting in particular are very well done, but those sections also make me hesitant to replay the game because they can't be skipped.
I also believe the vehicle sections overstay their welcome, but apart from that Half-Life 2 is excellent. A must play.
