The game seems really impressive at first, until you realize it's following a very rigid structure that you have only a small degree of control over, and that Trip and Grace have a very limited pool of things they understand. The concept also doesn't really hold up for long. The game expects you to replay it over and over to figure out how to 'win,' but to be blunt Trip and Grace's incessant bitching is insufferable to listen to over-and-over again, and besides that how to 'win' the game is unintuitive enough to the point where I lost interest before I could even get to that point.

Cool tech demo, mediocre game.

I'm biased, as a fan of party games / minigame collections myself, but I remember enjoying my time with Game Day as a kid. The minigames are all good, and I really enjoyed exploring the island in 3D, with my only criticism for it being the monotony of the campaign. But overall it's a good game with some nice Club Penguin charm.

I also got a good few virtual coins off this game, as I played it back when Club Penguin's servers were still live and the coin transfer functionality worked, so I'm probably very biased.
