I've had to abandon this because life is too short to force yourself to finish things you're not enjoying. I've read some debates recently about whether this game needs a remake, but having played most of it, the debate should be around whether it deserves one.

Resident Evil 5 is simply a generic third person shooter, set in visually hideous locations where you're accompanied by a character with the personality of a wooden spoon. Even worse than this though, is that there's almost no horror to speak of.

The only thing going for it is that you can play the whole thing in co-op, but I am reluctant to trick my friends into having a bad time.

Not sure whether I should try RE6 or not.
