Upcoming SRPG-like Watchlist for 2023/2024 and beyond. These games are picked from what I feel have potential. Big or small. Including titles already released in the current year and in the past for extra examples. Updating constantly. Love SRPG's/TRPG's. If its primarily on a grid with rpg elements or light rpg elements. I count it! Think Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, Ogre Battle, Shining Force, Front Mission, Indies and everything in between. Being kinda loose with the definition of SRPG's. So I can add some falling through the cracks.

Some of the game's missions objectives include eliminating hostile forces, escaping, destroying, exploring, capturing bases or equipment, and even contacting the orbital trading centers to send in dropships for resupply and rush to get them before enemies do. Players will, for the most part, decide the order of what missions to execute, each choice adding permanent consequences to the story's plot, impacting on future missions.

Apart from dealing with the invading force, factions will have to face off the planet's native and ferocious wildlife. There are some reports of behemoth-sized creatures that have terrorized some of the colonies.

I've always wanted to get into the genre, but they feel really complicated. Any good entry points you'd recommend Detective?
@RedBackLoggd - Hmmmm hard to say what to recommend. If you don't me asking what do you prefer if you were to dive into this genre? Like more fantasy? Sci fi?, favoring short length, medium, long games? Lots of replayability? Meh story to unforgettable story? More on gameplay?
Good story, genre and length are irrelevant.
