Same thing with the first one. Love it or hate it. Turn-based bosses are GREAT and even better than Ougon Densetsu. But the beat 'em up sections are literally broken, as some stage interactions simply don't work. Great game if you don't give up.

This game is a love it or hate it scenario. The turn-based combat is great, but the beat 'em up sections feel like, well, an NES game. Really worth playing if you don't get easily angry.

As the first "modern" game, it shows. The gameplay is kinda clunky and slow, and the beat 'em up sections feel untested. Has a lot of problems, but content-wise, it's a full package for the arc. It's a good game, but the problems often outshine the greatness. Unlocked and finished everything it had to offer.
