A significantly better game than it's predecessor. The "it's not a bug, it's a feature" design is very enjoyable and often hilarious and the game has plenty to do, packed with frequent good bits and a map that reacts to things that you do.

However, a few of the bits are lame, some of the objectives are tedious and even frustrating, and the entire swapping inventory system could have used some quality of life things like savable presets and the items themselves aren't too interesting past a certain point and/or threshold. Also, the end of the game was disappointing.

Worth the 7 hours.

Ah, For Honor. The game that by itself, consumed the last five years of my life for better and for worse. After 8785 hours (console included) I can confidently say that this is the best game I have ever played. Coming from someone who hit childhood goals with this game such as hitting top 100 and playing at a pro level, that has some bias to it for sure, but this game is genuinely good. This is the only live service game that I've ever played where the developers genuinely care about the game. The changes are consistently good and the mishaps are far and few in between. As with anyone, I've had downs with this game at points in time too but I always came back for more and it never got me to quit. In my opinion, the mere fact that this game is so unique that I will never play anything like it ever again, even remotely similar, is enough to make it a "good game" regardless of opinions on balance. This game is the reason I still play games today, as 5 years ago when I got into it, all I played were FPS games and 5 years ago.. FPS games lost their soul. I owe a lot to this game, and I hope the playerbase never dies down into something unplayable.
