They did a very, very nice job at the storytelling. Taking what they started in Portal 1 into this they expanded on it in a very interesting way. I enjoy the level of vagueness it leaves for you to decide yourself how things truly are. Having said that however I feel it has lost some of its puzzle elements specifically near the later portions of the game. It felt more like I was navigating rather than actually solving predetermined puzzles, some people enjoy that but I do not. However those sections still ended up being my favorite due to the phenomonal writing by the team. Its hard to rate this lower than Portal 1 but I cant ignore these flaws just because its strengths are more apparent. I would still heavily recommend this to anybody who has already played the first game.
