Tekken 5 had no right to be as good as it was. The game felt amazing to play and was fast-paced. The devil within mode was fun. The arcade was fun with one of the most annoying bosses of all time at the end. I would go as far to say this game was perfect, BUT, from a competitive standpoint, there are a few issues, in that TOD combos exist in a game where they shouldn't due to glitch/game oversight, albeit, this is only with 1 or 2 characters (Steve?) But even still, one broken character in an era where hotfixes and patches are not a thing is remarkably damaging.

If you remove that though, the game is great. perfect even. There's not a single thing I dislike about Tekken 5 other than the point mentioned above - the combo system is great, damage scaling is generally fair, but the game is skewed towards certain characters.
