My favorite game of all time. The town is based on a real town in Cornwall, which I've gone to visit since I loved it in the game so much! I really love the graphics, the photo-realistic black and white with small pops of color is really atmospheric. The game oozes atmosphere, from the slight creep of something wrong in the cottage to the tense night ghost hunt in a church. The story is great, and the characters are really likable. The game can be a bit of an acquired taste, the voice acting can be really hit or miss. But if you like ghosts (and the English countryside), this is the game!

Very addicting roguelike deckbuilder, with an emphasis on summoning! There's a ton of variety of cards and heroes you can play, all with different abilities that make it so fun to try and find new synergies. Love the addition of fate encounters with dice rolls. The price can seem a bit steep for the genre, but 56 hours in-I've definitely got my money's worth!

Gorgeous artwork, adorable doggos with cute stories, good roguelike loop that gets easier once you find things to help in future runs.

A dream come true for a HP fan! Exploring the castle was magical, watching the seasons change was gorgeous, gameplay was fun. Outside the castle/Hogsmeade the hamlets are pretty fantasy generic.

Very moving and dark game, one of my absolute favorites. I loved the contrast between learning the clinical way asylums used to "treat" patients, and then hearing the firsthand accounts from the ghosts. The characters are so likable, and the voice actor for Malcolm is absolutely amazing and chilling. Puzzles make sense.

Pretty unique deckbuilder, where instead of fighting you impress an audience! Each artist has unique mechanics, and losing all your health once isn't game over. Graphics are cute (my chicken!). Nothing carries over, so replayability is kinda low-mostly just using other artists and a new 1/3 of a map. You also can't choose which cards you want your artist to have, they have a chance of getting new cards when training but it's random. The biggest downside is the game makes up a lot of terms and doesn't explain them very well, so figuring it out can be trial and error. (And some not PCness from the time period.)

Really atmospheric game that delivers exactly what it promises: identifying plants. The identifying is fun, fair, and satisfying. The clues to find more plants on the map are mostly smart but can sometimes be obtuse. Customers come in wanting a specific plant; I kind of wish there was a harder toggle that would not tell us exactly what plant they want, just what benefit they want. But it does happen a few times in the game. Great music and again, the atmosphere is great: I love the rainy days with my cat.

Really enjoyed matchmaking and the mini-games, just wish the best couple possible would be a good match. I would pick the best person I could from the book, with the most in common/liked, and would only get a B score. There was no perfect match.

Best roguelike deckbuilding game I've played! The first act is the best, and Kaycee's Mod capitalizes on it. Sacrificing cards to powerup other cards is genius, so fun!

Really enjoyable to draw the roads between randomly occurring houses/buildings and see the traffic. Good pacing to not feel too overwhelmed, though no matter what you do some buildings just can't handle that many people and you'll eventually lose. Nice upgrade options, and lots of different city maps.

I enjoyed this RNG dice management game, choosing where to use my good rolls and trying to survive.

Interesting take on fairytales. Translation is pretty good, some scenes rehashed way too many times. But overall enjoyable, will continue to play the other episodes.

Really enjoyable, with lots of bells and whistles. Really interesting worldbuilding, pretty aesthetics, characters have their own stories and cards. (Can also do a more traditional battle mode). Two characters have really good stories, and two characters are fun to play. Though two characters don't have easy access to pets, there are lots of modifiers and one can help with this! Having two different decks is great, I love getting to "battle" with diplomacy! And there are different ways to upgrade cards, and you upgrade by playing them! I also like that characters will like/love/dislike/hate depending on what you do, and that it can help or hinder you! Random events popping up keep things fresh. Bit disappointed you can't do a pure pacifist/no hate run.

Really enjoyed this pixelated Viscera Cleanup! The same frustrations as that game, but always feels fair. Just wish it was longer, there's only 6 maps.
