I have bad news for you about pokemon violet. Gamefreak hates 6v6 singles now. Though with showdown existing I can't imagine its that much of a problem

@LordDarias I have (semi-) good news for you. They added the regular battle timer in the gen 9 games. Knowing how much GF hates Smogon though obviously there is a downside, being that you have to schedule battles like a day in advance or something like that. I haven’t personally tried it as I don’t want to spend 60 hours or something on Tera Raids to change a single mons Tera typing and all the people I played competitive with back then have quit because of Pokémon Sword.
