A very special little silly game. Ones of those games you play one time and smile the whole way though. Definitely a one and done type of game though.


Semi Spoilers:
I'd rate it higher but this is more of a short story than a game, you can get like 30 minutes out of this at most, probably less. You also get no real control in battle or anywhere else for that matter. While the game uses that to great comedic effect the lack of any choice anywhere makes it the least replayable game ever, also meaning that if you've watched someone play it there's no reason to ever try it yourself.

let me just start this off by saying that over the years i have never once touched this game i have no idea why but i just never got around to owning it, me seeing all the hype around bo6 i thought i should play what most people consider the best cod and now that i have played it for myself i really believe it is something special.

firstly the multiplayer since its what i touched the least, i played 2 matches and it was fun i can never understand the games multiplayer in its prime and im fine with that but it was very solid

secondly the zombies, the zombies is very solid too and i had fun but only played it for a short time too so i dont hv much to say.

now onto the campaign, black ops 2 campaign is very impressive and out of all of the cods ive played throughout the years its my 3rd favorite, 1 being ww2, 2 being bo1 and now in third place bo2.

i really love the way it goes between 76' and 2025 and how they have different play styles and aesthetics it makes the gameplay more interesting and fresh and the way the story follows with Menendez being the greatest cod villian he strikes fear in the player as he is always seen just making it out of being killed and always being a step ahead it truly represents the true power of a broken man who wants revenge and you cant hate the man as well as he is fighting for what he thinks is right.

woods, mason, and David are great protagonists and i have no complaints with writing. i love the mission that you play along side Menendez and he makes the choice to either kill him or shoot harper and you can tell with the fear in harpers eyes that he wants you to kill him because nothing comes before the mission. so with that feeling i went through with it and killed him becasue i feel that is the choice i would make irl, i really like the detail of how distraught the character you play as in that point is that he had to put a bullet in harpers head.

in the end i got the ending with Menendez dead and mason alive because i shot him in the leg and the line mason says to David "but you got back up" is sent shivers through me and i was very impressed with the conclusion of this game ending with nothing but a happy ending besides mason being alive but in the end Menendez won regardless of his death.

all in all i cannot recommend this game more it is peak shooter and im glad i finally got around to playing it and i didnt have a moment bored or tired of the gameplay. please play this game.
