Such a huge step up from ARR in its storytelling and character writing that I frankly have a hard time believing it was written by the same people. (It's also a massive improvement in every other way as well but it's at least reasonable to attribute ARR's design flaws to a team still working on nailing down what they wanted FFXIV to be.) Still not perfect (it's an MMO after all) but Yoshi-P and co have created such a great world to hang out in that it's rocketing up my "favorite games ever" list already.
