The aesthetic changes threw me off at first. It definitely loses just a bit of the dark and dreamy tone of the first one but the tightness in gameplay makes up for it.
It's just the PS3 game, but prettier with better framerate. World tendency was dumb in the original, its still dumb here and I did not interact with it.
After playing all the Souls games and Elden Ring, Demon's Souls definitely felt pretty easy. It was still enjoyable but definitely a different experience for me to be beating bosses in 1-2 tries (NOT MANEATER THO!) as opposed to how much I could struggle in Elden Ring.
The level system makes the game much more graspable than the immense worlds of the other Souls games. Game was good, game is still good now with framerate.
