It's pretty good! I love the designs, the world, the concept overall. I loved the pixelated form, I liked how weird and grotesque it was. Brutal, bloody, gross!! The gameplays pretty average, it does what you'd expect for a metroidvania and it's not perfect but I never had any major problems with it. The bosses are at least all very cool looking and individual in design and some amount of function, though I did feel it was lacking something... most of them weren't particularly difficult, but very beautiful to see. 🤔 cool everything, excited to see what the next game offers, if it's like this but more, 🤙🤙🤙

Honestly pretty good! I was a bit worried for the first 🤔 15-20 minutes after the intro because it seemed like it could get repetitive... but honestly the story moved along at a quick pace, and it went in a few directions I didn't see coming. The bosses were much more varied than I expected too, given the initial lack of variety in species, for example. Though the narrative isn't anything spectacularly new, I was kinda surprised to say, I enjoyed it! When the game ended, I found myself thinking I hope they make a second!
Never had any problems loading it, the gameplay was solid, and of course, I found the art style so compelling. It was cute and slightly dark at times. I appreciated the simplicity and ability to stay on task: not too much unnecessary side questing or stats for armor for example. Good fun, and I hope the studio makes more. Also I love rats

Might be 4 stars, I super loved this game. I didn't really have any performance issues (except for the suuuper long download on day one that prevented me from getting past the prologue), so I got lucky. Story was pretty dang good, a solid continuation and improval from the first one, which I also loved. A lot of updates to the battle and travel which made this game a little easier/accessible to me personally, I liked combat, I loved all the npcs and side characters you could talk to and found most of their stories to be fun/interesting, wish there was more of them tbh!!! I liked the worlds ok, wouldn't have minded another one, thought the main 'twist' in the story was a bit easy to see coming, but even then there was an aspect of it I didn't see coming. Diving into spoiler territory, I thought the ending was a bit rushed. There was still a lot good about it, and the boss fight against vader was one of my favorite moments in the series, but I don't think killing off the 'main' bad guy was done in a proper way that felt natural or anything other than kinda convinent tbh. I liked the returning characters developments and updated designs. I liked the little bit of lore expansion. Have no idea where they're gonna go for a third game but if it's this quality or adds more and launches without having a million bugs it should easily be a game of the year. LOVED IT! 👍
