Much better than the first in a lot of ways. The bump system took some getting used to after playing more modern Ys titles but after awhile I liked it. The story between this and the first is interesting and it's cool the early stages to the franchise.

I have a lot of good memories playing this with my friends but ultimately it just felt so lackluster compared to previous games. For how cheap you could get this now tit's not bad for under 10 bucks but there's better isometric aRPGs out there for the same price if that's what you're looking for.
