The first game in the Arkham trilogy is still one of the best superhero games of all time.
Story wise it's a constant thrill ride, there's little to no filler here which means the pace is fast and constant. The atmosphere of the game is also extremely well done the Asylum has you constantly feeling on edge. It does have to be said this means the game is fairly short (unless you count Riddler trophies, which are satisfying to solve and tick off)/
Gameplay is excellent, the combat is free-flowing both in stealth and when it opens up into a full fight. The bosses could be done a bit better though, and it does have to be said the Joker fight at the end feels like a bit of let down.
Overall - this is a must play that leaves you wanting more.

The OG Assassin's Creed still holds up to this day, playing on Series X the FPS Boost really helps the graphics shine and pop.
Story-wise the game is very strong, it draws you in, in both the modern day and past with a conspiracy full of twists and turns and ends on a memorable cliff-hanger.
Gameplay wise, things are a little stiff, especially if you've played the newer titles and mission variety could be a lot better. It's not fun to the do same prep missions 9 times each with them getting more and more tedious as you progress through the game. On the flip side though the parkour is satisfying when it clicks, escaping from guards while the music kicks in full force is always a great moment.
Overall, it's not perfect but it's still worth playing even today.
