A cute little Parablelike (similar to The Stanley Parable, I felt the need to explain it since it's not as catchy as Soulslike) about playing through a barely made "game" and wrestling with an uncooperative AI (spoilers? I guess?). While it's a little unfair to compare this game to Stanley Parable in terms of writing or general construction, it has a charming "we're just messing about" spirit to it that I appreciate for the short little runtime it has. The graphics have a kind of chunky not-quite-voxel vibe to them, Matthew Stanton has some funny deliveries (and it's funny to see his face plastered everywhere) & the bulk of the humor came from the dirth of little easter eggs: Stanton's constant baffled response to you eating oatmeal, the trip into the fridge that literally bricks the game, the endless staircase and the world's hardest gaming puzzle. Great soundtrack too. Nothing super amazing (kind of gives off polished up Game Jam vibes), but for a cheap price it's a fun distraction.
