i was almost bored by this but the progression of it turned out really cool. glad it got better

It's great for people who are like me, who are so desperate to feel the same feeling of that first The Stanley Parable gameplay they'll try any similar game. It's a fun game, a little buggy, a little pointless, it lacks some sort of depth but at the same time it is kinda the whole point, to not have a point and to just mimic an unfinished and unapologetic game talking about itself. It's still unremarkable, you will play it and the next day just forget about it.

A cute little Parablelike (similar to The Stanley Parable, I felt the need to explain it since it's not as catchy as Soulslike) about playing through a barely made "game" and wrestling with an uncooperative AI (spoilers? I guess?). While it's a little unfair to compare this game to Stanley Parable in terms of writing or general construction, it has a charming "we're just messing about" spirit to it that I appreciate for the short little runtime it has. The graphics have a kind of chunky not-quite-voxel vibe to them, Matthew Stanton has some funny deliveries (and it's funny to see his face plastered everywhere) & the bulk of the humor came from the dirth of little easter eggs: Stanton's constant baffled response to you eating oatmeal, the trip into the fridge that literally bricks the game, the endless staircase and the world's hardest gaming puzzle. Great soundtrack too. Nothing super amazing (kind of gives off polished up Game Jam vibes), but for a cheap price it's a fun distraction.

Why yes, the Stanley Parable influence is strong here. Comparing it 1:1 to that will likely leave you... disappointed? So don't! Take it for what it is, a little video game where you are testing a video game inside the video game. There's a narrator, you walk around and solve some puzzles, and the whole thing has a layer of absurdist comedy ontop of it.

It's fun, it's not for everyone.

Playtest a slow narrative adventure game to uncover a freak accident and save the original developers of the title.

Fun little experience, nothing to gawk at. Felt like a spinoff of The Stanley Parable but in a good way. Can't really describe it better than that. I enjoyed my time with it, at least, and the achievements are fun to hunt down. Unremarkable, but not bad by any means.

Give it a go if you like Stanley Parable and have some spare cash. :)

I like this game a lot! I enjoyed exploring and getting the achievements
