Lunacid was an interesting retro-style game. Having never played the game that inspired it, I enjoyed it for what it was. The vibe of the whole game is strange, dark, and interesting. The enemies looked cool, and the game performed well. The combat is serviceable. As long as I can swing my new sword and it does more damage, I'm not really complaining.

The biggest criticism of this game is the navigation. I felt lost and spent way more time than necessary. This did lead me to find some secrets I wouldn’t have otherwise found, but it was still very frustrating. Overall, the game is fun, has an interesting setting, cool aesthetics, and is short.
