A bit strange. You can choose between two vehicles to play as, but both are a little bit finicky. The jeep is a bit easier and can fire in eight directions so I settled with that, but its shots always lock on regardless of the movements you make, which isn't too helpful with a lot of enemies from all sides.

As someone who emulates all my older games, I tend to forget the L and R buttons exist on the SNES controller after playing so many Genesis games. They help you switch weapons here, and up until stage 3 I was only using the lousy default choice because I didn't discover this until then. It became a lot more enjoyable once I found this out.

Sunsoft are generally lauded for their soundtracks, but I really found this one to be lacking. Everything seemed to go in one ear and out the other, which normally I wouldn't point out but again they threw out a lot of great soundtracks in their prime, even (especially, actually) on the NES.
