Feels pretty lacking compared to the SNES version. Like, it's fine, it plays fine, but mmm...

I guess it makes a little more sense when you compare the developers. Virgin Interactive employees who would go on to form Shiny Entertainment worked on this one, and it has a lot of the typical trappings of western developed 4th gen platformers. Oddly enough, it's better about these than their next project Earthworm Jim. Meanwhile the SNES version is developed by Capcom. I'll leave it to you to decide which you would rather spend money on.

That being said, this does have more interesting development stories. There's interviews and such you can find about development and animation processes and the like. Probably a more interesting read than the game is an interesting play.
