The game is awesome. The trailer is a bit misleading with the whole thing of the cast not believing in curses/ghosts cuz most do LOL, but in general it's a really cool mystery game. In my opinion, the only fault of the game is that the ending doesn't tie all the things it has showed us. I'd say 95% gets resolved, but one major and one minor character/issue doesn't get resolved and I felt upset because of that. The OST is amazing tho and the art is absolutely amazing. I'd recommend for everyone who wants a mystery-horror game and the game leads you to issues that you're not expecting from the trailer, which is pretty cool.

This game is great and it's very cool to play with friends (mainly if you are bad like me). Although I know it's a part of games, in general, to learn how to play and all of the gimmicks of them, I think this game suffers from the same condition of Skull Girls: your opponents, if they're not your friend who bought the game with you, they'll be extremely skilled and it will be really hard to play. Like SG, this is a niche game, so most of the playerbase will be the addicts who spend their whole life playing this (it's not an issue, just for more casuals like me in this game). Despite that, it's really fun to play and the soundtrack united with the scenarios make the experience very enjoyable :)

It's honestly fun to play, I've been playing it recently and it's pretty cool. If I could go out more and feeling safe, it'd be an amazing exercise (I live in Brazil, so ye). I don't think the game is a massive cashgrab like some people said since it's just about increasing your stock and if you don't want to play that much or have no interest in catching them all, you can just quit and even like that, the 100 coins pack is super cheap (you buy it twice to increase 50 pokémons). The idea is very fun, although I think the AR mode is kinda eh and not many people are going to use it. Another problem I find is the difficulty to get a perfect pokémon. You can get many near perfect, but I've never gotten a perfect IV pokémon. Maybe it's because I don't play as much as the addicted players, but it's kinda upsetting yk?

Honestly I don't find it good, I think it's bad, but playable. The game suffers from it being super short, which is alright for an RPG Maker type of game, but it's extremely bad for the sake of its popularity and fanbase. The game fails in an enormous rate to tell you about the characters, you know about the Rachel and that's it. You get a bit of context for the Doctor, which may be enough, but at the same time I find it super lacking. Zack is just Zack for the sake of being Zack (but he is one of the most enjoyable for being charismatic). About Eddie, I know they released a game for him, which I haven't played but it doesn't matter because I'm rating this game solely, so I can't say if there is any improvement on his part (it probably explains his character, which will be positive, but I still gotta play it), but the game lacks exactly on that, not exploring and explaining all of the characters, Eddie is just fucking boring and a creep, he is totally useless and just a bum to the series, it's like they needed two characters to be in the middle and just made Eddie and Catherine. Also the only reason people like Eddie is because they find cute the way he acts towards Rachel. About Catherine, I don't think I need to say anything, but for the sake of reviewing, she is just the most useless character in the series, which is just there to give some fanservice for masochists to find her so hot, sadistic and bossgirl. Despite that, we also have the Priest who is probably the most interesting character and is also the one we get the least content of. I want to know him, what are his motives? Why does he understand so much of the place? He is the most important character in relation to the ambiance. He killed the Doctor in the ending so why doesn't he get more highlight? I forgot, maybe some of these questions get answered, but in the end, I want to see more of him. If you liked the anime, you'll probably like this piece of crap. But if you are like me that wanted to play the game first, you'll probably be disappointed because the game is bad and unless you are a fan of the series, you will not be able to ignore its mistakes and flaws.

Honestly, I think IDV is far from perfect, but it's pretty fun. Throughout my life, I've started playing QMs as a survivor, but then I became a hunter main (mainly a Bonbon main) and I've understood the frustration this game is. Although Bonbon is one of the strongest meta hunters, the game is really frustrating sometimes due to the cipher rush meta, where all you do is cipher the fastest you can so the game ends. The cipher rush is benefited by the decoding buff that comes in a aprt of the game (idk when lol) but usually when it's down to 2 ciphers left and it makes the game insanely fast paced and usually hunters can't follow it. Besides the frustration of playing hunter, I find the game design absolutely amazing and really creative. The main story inside the game got developed recently and it's really cool, plus you can also discover the story of other characters through their birhtdays and doing their particular missions. Honestly the story has me interested a lot, but it develops very slowly, so if you think it's better just to keep playing for the story, you may just abandon the game and note the birthdays. Another thing on the game are the cosmetics, skins, pets, emotes or anything else that is buyable (like to edit the manor), they are extremely expensive if you are not from a rich country and wants to buy something from the store and if you want to get a skin from the gacha, get ready to spend a lot, since it may take lots and lots of gachas to finally get your skin (you need to open one 50 times for a guaranteed A skin [I think] and like more than 100 for an S skin). Last, but not least, back to the hunter problem, due to the fact that it's frustrating to play hunter (also because of survivor toxicity) the queue times for survivors and hunters are way different. Usually, hunter QMs take 2 seconds to find, whilst survivor matches may take 2-10 minutes and in rankeds, the hunter ones follow the same time, meanwhile the survivor one may take up to 20 or even more. Despite the problems and frustration, I still like to play the game and play it on a daily basis. If you have anger problems like me, I don't know if it's the best game for you to play, however if you are just a casual, I think you can enjoy the game a lot.
