This game is terrible, even compared to its predecessor. The Story is that David Tapp's son Michael is captured by Jigsaw for betraying his dad for journalism and Michael needs to discover who lead to Tapp's suicide and get out of there, this Story is not bad, there's nothing about it to complain about. The Characters are all bad this time, except for Jigsaw, Michael is not a likeable protagonist, he has no big personality except for betraying his father for a career, Sarah is an asshole for no good reason, Carla from the film has been reduced to selfish woman, and the 2 cops are literally trying to kill you to keep their activities you now know about silent. The Graphics are less stylish and more pasted on than the first game, it shocks me how they made it look worse. The Gameplay is same as the last game, but only 5 trials and random 3 encounters with subjects along the way, these Griff and Anton's encounters are interesting because your actions change their fate, adding more control fun into the game, although Zeke is an idiot who blames Michael for his hand loss despite the fact, he's only alive thanks to Michael's help during the puzzle, The puzzles are not as interesting as the previous ones and some are not close to being as good, like just the balancing beam where it went from moving the player to the center, to that but add clicking both triggers instead of moving with the left analog stick, this pointless choice is an example of the creators, changing stuff to make them better when they don't need to and end up making them worse. The Traps are not as interesting as their former counterparts, and the wire trap has changed so that if you run at it, you do a QTE to avoid it, and if it does hit you, you get injured, but you don't die, also Michael shouldn't duck his head forward when avoiding shotgun bullets. The Combat has been replaced with QTE's making them better, but less enjoyable. The puzzles to save everyone are easier since you can pause the menu and look at them for as long as you need. But 1 of them doesn't make any sense, Joseph, he is seen walking around the base before being in a trap and well he was up he said he had to get Michael, so why would Michael rescue him? it makes no sense, also the other characters are only in the story when needed, and Solomon who's not needed afterwards leaves the story just after he's rescued. The Ending is caused by Campbell at the beginning's choice changing Michael's fate, if Campbell survives, Michael gets crushed to death and Campbell dies attacking Jigsaw anyway, disappointing, but if Campbell's dead Michael makes it to the end where he can either leave or join Jigsaw, DESPITE THE FACT, HE NEVER SHOWED ANY SIGNS OF WANTING TO JOIN HIM, and they treat it like a big choice the story can't reveal, that shows how they didn't write their characters well. Collectables involve Tapes, Jigsaw pieces and Billy the puppets too, they are nice collectables, but they are not great either. The Music is mostly the same quality as the last game, except this one has the Saw theme at the beginning and the ending, that's nice. This is the worst story in the Saw universe I've ever seen, and I'm glad they never made a third one.
