Not being able to crouch and shoot is my biggest gripe with this game. It controls fine and looks pretty good for a NES game with iconic music and level design but when an enemy just keeps creeping towards you, right under your shots, i can't help but getting frustrated. I'm fine with a challenge but c'mon now.

Really fantastic game. It really is a "my first RPG" kind of game and i don't mean that in a bad way. Simple yet relatively deep. Cast of characters are really great and I like how nearly everyone you met along your journey gets some kind of closure at the end. Beat it in 11:54 which might be the perfect length for an RPG. Going to go rest my thumb now because there's a LOT of A-button pressing.
