Kam reviewed Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Blade Wolf
Blade Wolf is yet another story DLC prequel to the main events of the game, this time instead of playing as a beloved character in a sort of remixed way parallel to the actual campaign, we play as LQ-84i, character which eventually becomes a sidekick of Raiden under the name of Blade Wolf after defeating it earlier on in the story, but in here the mutt-like is under Mistral's training for on-field combat, and that is pretty much everything that there is to say about this one as it is super short. The (fanservice-y) appearance of Mistral as a whole is greatly appreciated since she kinda shows up and then disappears forever as you defeat her.

The rest is pretty null and the stages themselves and the other character that shows up are pretty bad in general, you're practically doing stuff in Denver and then you're faced with a Roblox obby comprised of dev textures which you have to actually do to advance, and then when you're out of training and get into the meat of things it just ends, so there's not really a lot of value besides playing as the new odd character.

Kam reviewed WarioWare: Twisted!
My first instinct when the Delta emulator hit the App Store was to first actually download it and then (painstakingly) drag a bunch of ROMs into it to test it out, and to my surprise, the GBA emulation has nearly-perfect support for the couple of games that utilize the gyro accessory, these being Drill Dozer and WarioWare right here.

And in my journey to actually playing the WarioWare games I was pleasantly surprised on how this was a really fun time with the right equipment. The emulation working almost seamlessly just makes me think how fun it would've been to actually play this game this way in the original hardware. Twisted! is without a shadow of a doubt a straight upgrade to the original whilst keeping the same vibe, now the microgames are much more fun and are way more detailed, the tilting controls are fun and are used in inventive ways that don't get old easily, the whole game and the stories of its characters feel more landed and coherent to build off of for future entries because it sets the precedent most games in the franchise using weird and fun gimmicks to actually maneuver it with.

...Now, sadly this is pretty much all there is to say about this game. It's more fun and it definitely feels more refined than Mega Microgames! but it'll always live as The Game That Was and then proceeded to get superseded by practically every other major WarioWare entry going forwards. It's fun for some time but it isn't earth-shattering either.

Kam reviewed Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Jetstream
Jetstream is a pretty simple DLC story prequel to the events of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. In here, you play as the titular Jetstream Sam before joining Desperado and becoming one of the baddies in the main game, and it's a surprisingly fun time at that.
Based mostly on chapter R-04 of the main story, it's an hour and something of going around slashing enemies as a familiar but tankier (and thus a tad bit more complicated) character that lacks the augmented abilities Raiden has in his cyborg form, and save for all of its rehashed locations and assets it does have its fair share of animated cutscenes and unique enough boss fight to be a sweet little appetizer after the fact.

But that's pretty much it, I don't think it'd absolutely be that worth it to buy on its own so I'm glad it's included into the PC port of the game.
