Games that are so broken that I will wait for patches/hardware upgrades/ mods before playing them
Some games are so broken that they refuse to run even remotely smooth. A good example for that is Dishonored 2. I bought it on launch day and the performance was terrible. Even setting everything to the lowest setting and playing in 240p did NOT help at all. So I decided to wait for patches and workarounds. It is January 2023 when I am writing this and I still have not played Dishonored 2. But that may soon change as my new PC is powerful enough to bruteforce trough the engine trouble. The Evil Within 2 on the other hand remains unplayable and thus resides on this list.

7700X and a 4090 are NOT enough to play the game smoothly enough as the game stutters a lot and does not utilize the hardware to its fullest. Gonna have to wait for a 6090 or something :/
The Next Gen update is currently utterly broken, even on a 4090...
