Excellent title in the series, sets a new standard for 3D Sonic games. The story and writing were superb, far exceeding the poor writing in Forces or even Sonic Generations. The callbacks and the way it built on lore from past titles kept me engaged and hungry for more. The exploration and openness of the gameplay were fun, but as I got more hooked on the story, the exploration became a chore. The cyberspace levels were the least fun and their missions became tedious to complete. They don't match the boost gameplay as had been suggested. Some of the titan bosses are a little too easy, but they balance out. And the finale is excellent and just a tad emotional.
