When you remake a game you can shine up the polygons, add all sorts of content, clean up the gameplay and freshen up the experience with all sorts of quality of life improvements, but if you ruin the characters and shortchange the story, you will end up nuetering the entire experience, as this game exemplifies.

This game is extremely difficult to rate accurately as each season plays differently, however on average it's an excellent product and the best in the genre.

While probably an extremely ground-breaking game upon release, absolutely nothing about it holds up; it's successors improve upon the formula in every notable way.
