Definitely a step up from Final Fantasy 7 Remake in everything - especially the combat, which went from a chore in the first to a delight in this game. Without spoiling anything, I'm unsure of how I feel about where the story's going, but I'm definitely interested to see how they pull it off. And man, this game is MASSIVE. I spent more than double the total playtime for Remake and Intermission in this game, for better and for worse. This game has tons more to do, but there's also tons more padding which definitely puts me off from ever doing a second full playthrough. Overall I give it a 9/10, and I gotta say I really enjoyed this, and I can't wait for 3!
