Genshin Impact is everything you hate about grindy live service games, but wearing the dress up of a detailed, complex, single player RPG to make you think it has the chance to be something more than that, but one too many 30+ hour grinding crusades to make one of your new characters marginally stronger makes you realise that your only reward is 100+ hours of walking to places and spamming Left Click a bunch to read a script that feels like it's been CTRL+A+Thesaurus'd.

It's all very existential.

Lack of a gripping story, bad writing with unfunny "jokes", mediocre soundtrack and worst of all, no reasons to even pull characters or weapons. The only saving grace was it was one of the first decent Mobile-PC cross progression games out there.

Only reason why this is rated highly was because of people who barely play games at all.

trashin impact

i don't wanna like this game anymore please free me from this pain

Waste of time and you can get addicted to lootboxes

please get me an emergency food

Love the aesthetic but bailed out at lvl 15. Pay to win is nonsense.

It was ok for what it is but I don't plan on playing it again, gacha just aren't my thing anymore, also Lisa is mommy waifu

3.5☆ - This game is a masterpiece in music, art, animations, visuals, gameplay, narrative, voice acting, and character design. It's just so disappointing to see the game become grindy past AR45 with artifact dungeons and gacha elements. If these were reduced so character progression would be less grindy then this game would easily get 5 stars for perfection. Nostalgia +1☆.
