This is my first time using this feature! Tbh I thought it would be a bit bigger on screen, but oh well. Today, I started my (re)playthrough of Star Fox 64 3D. I've owned the game since it came out, but I never got around to finishing it. After having to shelve a few long RPGs, I decided that I needed to shift my focus to shorter games - being a 9-5er and a gamer is hard. I didn't do a whole lot today, just sped through the first three levels during my lunch break at work, and I snuck in the mission on Solar before going to hang out with some friends. I always loved the Arwing's design. The gyro controls are a hoot to get used to, but after a bit they can get really fun! I like how everything feels 'faithful' to that old N64 vibe. The voice acting is in line with dramatic, simple delivery, and the 3DS is a console that, in my opinion, has aged like fine wine and will continue to do so for years to come.
