Final Fantasy VII Remake was my second game of Final Fantasy series, so I knew what to expect and had some basic knowledge about the verse. Final Fantasy VII remake is parted in to 3 parts that cover the original FF7, and this is the first game of that remake. Most important themes of Final Fantasy games is fighting the fate and saving the planet by being ecological. Plot of this game is centers around Cloud who is a merchant hired by the group of eco warriors called ,,Avalanche". Their goal is to destroy all of the maco rectors responsible for sucking the planet dry from its essence- mako. Shinra is the company in charge of the city where this game takes place but the main villain is Sephiroth. He is an enigmatic character whos relation with Cloud is mysterious. Ultimate goal is to battle the fate, defeat Sephiroth and finally save the planet. Story is plentiful of many deep themes and interesting worldbuilding aswell as charismatic side characters. Speaking of characters, main cast of this game is probably the best I have ever seen. Cloud is such a well rounded character and his dynamics with every each one of the crew is phenomenal. We can interact with who Cloud prefers and develop our relationship with our buddies. Although I hate the fact that we can't look up stats for how much a certain character likes us. So the main crew contains of Cloud, Tifa, Aerith and Barret, each one of them has its own arc that carves them into great characters. Moving to the gameplay, combat system is something that sticks out, I love it so much. Its dynamic-tactical type of combat, where you can opperate 3 characters to fight. There is so many ways you can build your squad, it feels really elastic. Mobs are done pretty good aswell, having their own weaknesses and not being recycled to much. Bosses are also cool designed but sometimes bossfights seem very long. What I personally didnt like about the gameplay is the fact that skipping side quests for a certain character helps with building the relationship. I understand this solution however I am type of person to clear the game so I don't like it.
Soundtracks and sound design in this game are absolutely wonderful, you can close ur eyes and tell what's going on, that's how good it is. Soundtracks make so much atmosphere and fit perfectly into every scene its just gorgeous. You can search for some OSTs scattered across the map, unlocking them allows you to play them in the jukebox. Graphics are obviously phenomenal, especially cutscenes. I played on performence mode and still graphics made good impression on me. Side activities could be better tbh, because I undestand that they are literally "Odd Jobs" but it's just so boring to look for the 3 cats in a big town with loads of NPCs..Mini games tho were cool, mostly focused on quick time events but I liked them, especially squats and darts.

TLDR:
Final Fantasy VII remake is a game with an absolute great story with wide emotional layers, the best main cast I have ever seen, phenomenal soundtrack and combat system. Side activities and free roaming could have been better and besides that I have couple of little personal issues that doesn't really matter that much.

Btw I wanted to add that chapter 9 of this game is the funniest experience I have ever had in gaming and such a cool way to shift the vibe of current situation.
