It's a great game and all, but damn does it feel clunky compared to both the GBA games and Samus Returns. I hate the floaty sluggish physics, I hate swapping between missiles and beams... a GBA era remake would have been extremely welcome. I felt this way the first time I played it and revisiting it only further reinforced this for me. Everything that follows it just plays so much better that it makes it difficult to enjoy this the same way.
