A good Mario game with lots of creativity... but that's pretty much EVERY Mario game. I do really like 3D World but I also think it's one of the weaker entries, not that that says very much because a real Mario game is never bad. The increased speed and other changes for this rerelease are absolutely very welcome improvements. 3D World is just in a weird spot, it doesn't really know what its identity is other than a bigger budget take on its immediate predecessor... but it does that extremely well with a phenomenal soundtrack, so it's not something I can really complain about all too much. I just feel like I have a harder time remembering specific parts of it than I do all other Mario games (except for 3D Land, which is even less memorable for me), so it just ranks lower for me.
