Great DLC for an already epic game.

I really liked the Challenge Rooms in Bioshock. They were originally exclusive for the PlayStation 3 but were included later in the Remaster for the PC/Steam version.

You can play three different challenge rooms, each with their own puzzles, mechanics and limitations. The puzzles themselves are really well thought out and are very challenging. Each room is a unique experience, and it was here, in these challenge rooms, that my aiming skill and reflexes were trained to perfection. I played the game and challenges so much, that I could headshot splicers with a crossbow while jumping and running. A feat I am most proud of.

The action is intense, and to make it even more challenging, there is a timer on each level. In theory, this is no problem because the maps themselves have no time limit, however, there are some achievements to be earned if you complete them under a certain time.

This makes for an intense experience in which you try to stay alive, solve the puzzles as fast as possible, while keeping an eye on the time.

The challenge rooms were a perfect combination of challenge, puzzle solving and skill, and from all the DLC in the Bioshock series, I still think this is the best one yet. This is just a great example of how to make interesting DLC, which extends your fun and playtime with the game.

Definitely worth it in the end.
