Pyre would be great on here!
@Archagent Thanks for the suggestion! I haven't played Pyre yet, but I will definitely add it to the list.

@MadeDayBorowski There are a ton of lyrical tracks in it, and the main characters feel like a classic theater troupe even if that's not what they really are.
Metal Gear Rising

I'm not joking
If Pyre's there then Supergiant's three other games also belong: Bastion, Transistor, and Hades.
@Midrulean I too watch Jacob Geller.
Wandersong is also a nice one

Transistor also since your character is constantly humming along and trying to sing to all the music.

Don't know if the other 2 Anarcocoa mentioned should though, Hades has a lot of theater kid type dialogue but not a lot of musicality to back it up. Bastion is too isolated to be a 'musical' game. But transistor definitely counts.
@Midrulean @Hot_Anarcocoa @Erato_Heti Thanks for the suggestions!
@Erato_Heti Transistor is for sure the most fitting for this list since you're literally playing as a singer, but like I said, if Pyre counts the others should as well. It's not like any of them are actually musicals, and they've all got diagetic songs which move the story forward.

@Hot_Anarcocoa The big reason why I said Pyre was just because the whole game feels like the kind of found family you have when you're a theater kid in addition to the lyrical songs. I haven't played the other stuff from Supergiant, so I can't really speak there, but that's the bigger reason why I suggested it: it feels like you're in sort of a traveling theater group.

there's this brazilian adventure ? game where your character's actions are narrated in song. there's an english version too. tbh i think it's annoying but it's perfect here
@judgerussell Do you mean Songs for a Hero?
