People often lump this one in with the other NSMB games and I don't think that's fair. This game was a great innovation at the time after such a large gap since the last mainline platformer.

The game is just a genuinely solid platformer with some fun bosses (something they scrapped in future games...)

Also it has all the minigames, and they're great! I spent so many hours in the Luigi's casino
