While it improves upon everything that Yakuza 7 does in terms of gameplay, the narrative is lacking in a couple areas. The kind of shot themselves in the foot by writing Gaiden after Infinite Wealth and Ichiban's relevance in the story wanes in the latter half.

It sure is a Mario Kart game on the Nintendo Wii.

An absolute joy from start to finish. I like how different weapons have different attacks. I love the way that each character is written (Bowser's love for his minions and the way Mario recounts stories to name a couple). Great game.
