While it improves upon everything that Yakuza 7 does in terms of gameplay, the narrative is lacking in a couple areas. The kind of shot themselves in the foot by writing Gaiden after Infinite Wealth and Ichiban's relevance in the story wanes in the latter half.

It sure is a Mario Kart game on the Nintendo Wii.

An absolute joy from start to finish. I like how different weapons have different attacks. I love the way that each character is written (Bowser's love for his minions and the way Mario recounts stories to name a couple). Great game.

Technically, I watched my friend play this. The story is abysmal and tropey, but the characters are funny. If anything, this game is much better to play for the gameplay than getting a good story out of it.

The narrative additions to this version of Persona 4 feel a bit pointless at its best and very annoying at its worst. The gameplay additions, however, make this version of the game smoother to go through. I would probably still take the PS2 version over Golden, though.

One of my favorite entries so far. Combat feels fantastic, some of the side content is the best it's ever been, and it's topped off with an ending that made me cry. My only complaint is that there is no new game plus and that combat gets a bit too easy by the end of it.

The upgrade to the Dragon Engine really hurt this game in terms of content. Kiryu's moveset feels pretty sparse compared to the previous entry, a good portion of Kamurocho just doesn't exist, and the story is relatively short. The best thing this game did was allow for the creation of Kiwami 2.

Very enjoyable combat, though the nerf to wicked weaves made me a little sad. The changes to the rating system were nice as items were completely punished in the first game.

Some really good feeling combat that starts to feel a little worn out due to the really high encounter rate. The story is pretty darn long, but it houses one of the best characters in the series.

An intriguing narrative with the gameplay of your average 2010 cover shooter. The inspiration from Heart of Darkness is clear and well implemented. Recommended if you're looking for something to play in 1-2 sittings.

A strong start that fizzles out by the midpoint and then just feels miserable by the end. Going super is a hinderance due to the fact that the framerate TANKS. Boss design gets more and more frustrating as each one comes and goes. Hopefully, the next 2D sonic game learns from the faults of this one.

A great remaster (remake?) of the first Kirby game using the modern formula. The new art style is fantastic and compliments the game quite a bit. All of the new content is quite nice too.

An iconic entry in the Sonic series. Going back to it now, there are certain aspects that have a hard time holding up, but the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Enjoyed my time with this, but by the time that Sumeru came out, I was just incredibly burnt out from the more grindy aspects of this game.

A fantastic entry in the survival horror genre. There is so much to think about and interpret from this game that each player gets a different read of the narrative. Highly recommend.
