Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Reach:
I wasn't expecting that to be so short. Usually it takes me a good month to finish a 10 hour game. I did this in a week.
My honest opinion, as someone who knows fuck all about halo... I didn't get much out of it, I got a little attached to some characters and was shocked when they died and what I understood of the story is they are fighting a loosing battle defending reach from the aliens but end up evacuating to the halo.
It's "take down this shield, that gun, this generator. Ok let's get the fuck outta here". I mean obvs there's the whole mystery around the mystery ai thing they gotta recover and take away. But if I'm correct in thinking this is just extra setup for what the players already knew. The whole thing about the Spartans whole existence is to fight and die is kinda fucked, and they are not afraid to sacrifice themselves in an instant.
Overall I like it, it's just VERY simple.

Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far
Kingdom Hearts 1.5:
It was quite fun, an intriguing story which shows of the classic worlds of some of the 2D films and does it in a way that upholds suspension of disbelief. Each of the boss fights are unique and have their own rhythm and weaknesses. I unfortunately did not finish it because I think I did something wrong with the progression system and now I'm at the end with not enough hp, mp, or ap and it'll take me ages to grind through that, so I won't bother and watch the rest on YouTube. I may come back to it some day but I have other things to do.
