Like the Gameboy Advanced the DS was primarily a Pokémon device. My all time favorite Pokémon games released during this era, alongside a lot of "enhanced" ports of classics ala Mario 64 (contentious enhancement) and Kirby SSU (objective enhancement). The touch screen proved to be way more functional than gimmick when utilized properly.
