Having to restart after just one mistake is more frustrating than fun, even with QOL elements like checkpoints and a practice mode. If there was a lives system or something, I'd be all over this; the gameplay is really elegant.

This is my first DJMAX game so I didn't know what to expect, but the whole "song sounds play when you hit the button" thing really isn't for me. I need to be able to hear how the song is supposed to sound to play accurately, especially since the notes aren't colored according to timing for easier reading.

I'm honestly shocked at how much I loved this game. It's funny, smart, and always catching me off-guard, and the sheer amount of branching paths and meaningful choices you can make is insane.
