I knew I was in for some dogshit when the title faded bits out to just leave letters spelling LIES. Fuckin' grow up. The original trailer was dead interesting, but what we got was some three part ITV drama stuff. What if instead of a story being good, it simply had a couple of twists ye saw coming a mile away? What if it was also a slog to go over the same dialogue again and again to try and find out the single trigger to progress to the next loop? Please.
Annapurna get their dick sucked far too much for a company that makes my brain go "The A24 of Gaming", and no I can't explain exactly what that means. Fuck you.

But yeah the worst part is making McAvoy perform w/ an American accent. Like the world needs another one of those.

I get the Annapurna complaints but I do think people are too harsh on them, they're just a publisher, not a developer. And publishing wise... I mean Kentucky Route Zero (console edition), Sayonara Wild Hearts, The Outer Wilds, sure they've got a lot of pseudo-intellectual tripe in there too but they do some real good as well
I love two of those and have yet to start KRZ. I'm just very fed up with what feels like the same vibe again and again for lots of the stuff they publish, and like anyone pissed off by a game, I'll swing at the biggest target with pletny hyperbole in hand.
Yeah I do think that is fair and they really should be using their considerable reach/money to expand the definition of what an "art game" can be rather than narrowing it
