a better osu!mania in regards with rate mod, custom timing setting (like wife in etterna but isnt a pain to set up here) compativility with .osz and .sm files and a neat option to activate the note accuracy bar that tells you wheter the last note is hit late or soon (osu also has this, but its bar isnt dynamic and its harder to tell in a split second wheter it was late or soon) the ui and search function works well, but i do hope in the future skinning can let you edit all parts of the ui. 4k and 7k ranks are differentiated and thats great. a multiplayer system where you can play with different rates is also great allowing you to play with your friends that are way above (or below) in terms of your skill level. but, the difficulty calculator while still a bit better then osu it still got some flaws, ranked charts are a letdown but i see things getting better now.

an average resource management game the likes of factorio or satisfactory, but with the twist here being that your main way of transport is trains! (wow!) and you can even construct the railways vertically!(actually an interesting feature)

tl;dr reccomended only if you like management resource games

long:
opening the game for the first time greets you with a prologue movie that gives some backstory on how you end up
administering this planet which is surprisingly not cringe and actually watchable, while it doesnt do much adding that
to the overall looks of the game whether its the graphics, models, or the UI it does a good enough job as to NOT make me
feel as if im playing another unreal engine default asset shovelware. and that alone already sets this game much
better than average

first stage boots you up to the tutorial(s) which is a classic slideshow of tabs click this for this and that for that
which you can actually skip which is really nice, now that you skipped the tutorial youre flabbergasted why the trains
dont move, apparently how you construct the trains here matters! now you go back to the tutorial and learn that theres
different engines, load capacity, maximum climbing angle, and speed. and these factors will be your major concerns in
this game, you wont be building space efficient factories but you will be thinking on how to create the perfect train
and railroad for that stage, i wont say the terrain height difference is a mere gimmick as it does make for a valid
concern whether your train is capable of reaching said station and does allow for some unholy spaghetti (the easy way
would be just constructing all your railways on the same max height)

the first few stages only ask you to transport from point A to point B but it does gradually introduces new materials
and buildings that need multiple of those different materials, and eventually needing some processing down the line too in the later stages
the difficulty is a perfect half slope so you can casually enjoy the game without alt tabbing watching tutorials

as of right now the main way of playing the game are the story stages and theres no sandbox mode. but do not fret since the story
mode offers plenty plenty of stages and theres a map editor allowing you to make your own maps and import others, while
the maximum tile size is 128x128 its plenty enough space for majority of players but do not expect to create big railroads here

i also need to mention on for how nice the game looks im thankful for the competent devs for optimizing the game as such it doesnt become a slideshow when i load one train too many. and also i really like the added zoom in/cinematic train camera, had fun treating my trains as rollercoasters with that

all in all, a reccomended resource management game with the train twist being an actual gameplay factor instead of only being a gimmick.

probably from software's easiest game to date, still had a lot of fun when i played it back then. play as a ninja and exterminate zombie abominations that infects your beloved city with 3 choice of weapons. the heavy sword, a normal sword, and two small swords (of course, i dont need to explain on how they play the cliche archetype of the heavy, medium, and low damage but fast attack speed right?) the combat is unbeliveably fluid back then and still holds its ground even today, a more fast paced DmC 4 if you may call it that. the first mission starts with you diving off a helicopter to be met with a QTE to slash a giant bug and serve execution ala sekiro style in the sky, and from then on young me had his eyes glued to the screen and hands tight on the controller.
but all good things come to an end especially here with its 9 short missions you may finish the game in one sitting

if you come from other from software games you probably wont like it, but if your just searching for a fun action rpg for a night this could be a good reccomendation

a really fun arcade bike racing game that still wore its crown since 2003 on the ps2. fun playing alone and even more fun kicking your friends bike off the railing while theyre styling around.

you still can emulate and play split screen, so theres that. even with its dated graphics i highly reccomend you load this game with your friends for a fun night

a boring grind

the plot is shallow and predictable, you will be dissapointed if you were expecting a decent turn-based rpg here. you take a quest, slay some monster. cleanse and repeat until you are strong enough to beat the next chapters boss and repeat again
only buy if you want to see cute girls doing cute things

a sexual appeaser for the sad and lonely

a worse FH4, all fh4 got it going that kept me coming back was the world and here they decided introduce a giant boring wasteland called mexico with an unbelieveable amount of bugs that even brings the FH4 launch to shame.
the gameplay and limited events is a rehash from previous FH and nothing changed

avoid.

finish goliath a couple times and buy the cars you want. and then enjoy driving around london. and thats it, its boring

tl;dr: not reccomended

long:
while the term 'Don't Fix What's Not Broken' exist the formulaic approach has been rehashed so many times the improvement found in FH 4 compared to its predecessor is akin to the new FIFA every year. with the time limited events giving time limited cars creating unnecessary FOMO i just further hate this game, i want to play games at my own leisure not the other way around

altough, if all you want is just chill and drive around this is the game that does that specific thing the best, like an ETS but for hypercars. and i gotta give it to playground games their rendition of london indeed does look nice

the music sucks though, the way you turn off radio is by changing the stations until its off they somehow dont give the option to turn off the radio in the settings, dont know if deliberate or incompetency both are possible.

if you are still considering to play this game after reading my review. then dont play it

"Arknights" is a standout mobile game that seamlessly combines strategy and tower defense elements.

tl;dr, like tower defense? you must play it

long :
dare i say this is the best gacha i PLAYED yet, hard accentuation on the playing part because unlike other gacha games theres ACTUAL GAMEPLAY involved here. braindead your way with a surtr and thorns setup, or have fun and deploy specialist shoving your enemies into a hole, the true gameplay of arknights is in the endgame where you have dozens of operators leveled opening the possibility to clear stages in multitude of ways, and this is the part where i have the most fun where i access past cleared stages and try to clear them again with funny comps or challenge myself using low star ops. if you like tower defenses this is a massive reccomendation from me, i have yet to see a tower defense game as revolutionary as this even outside of gachas, with the map introducing enemies with multiple paths and a class sinergy between operator and enemy types, different terrain effects and limitations

but of course, by the nature of gacha we need to talk about monetization, comparitively speaking yostar is plentiful in term of rewards and as a f2p player for over 2 years i have obtained most of the 6* and only missing summer chen from the limited pool ones (from my last banner i played) and this is the only reason why i removed half a star from 5 , lol.

story wise, its ok. just watch the anime

a simpler version of Phasmophobia that is really fun with friends, its definitely a weekly flavor kind of game that you will get bored after finishing the 3rd level moons.

altough the frequent updates from the dev brings a bright future for the game. so this is definitely a good reccomendation from me
