Sonic 2 is the first Sonic game I've ever played and my favorite Sonic game but it certainly isn't perfect. Some of the zones (like Metropolis) are just a pain to go through and I often find myself just giving up once I get to oil ocean.

This game actually ruins the story and misses what made the previous games fun. The gameplay is literally just: hold button, thing happens, release button, wait, repeat. The sci-fi environment feels really out of place. This is where the story just starts dipping, and it only gets worse.

This is the best way to play Sonic CD. Sonic CD still sucks though.

Half of a near perfect game.
My experience was probably made worse because I played this game on switch but oh well. The story here is awful but I've kind of given up on caring. This game is just worse versions of FNaF 1-3 plus some bonus minigames.

This will always be the perfect finale for the series and the best game in it. The cameras now serve an actual purpose, and the random AI keeps you on your toes without feeling unfair. The story peaks here and the ending is so good. It's simple, sweet, and effective while still leaving room for interpretation. Springtrap's jumpscare could have used some extra work though.

I like this game but it has so many issues. Half of the zones are just really bad, the only thing that keeps making me go back to this game is Sonic. He's just really fun to control.
If you are going into this game for it's gameplay, play something else. This game is a visual novel so its appeal is its story, and this game has the best story in the series. The twists are amazing and the ending is really good. The characters are fun and the main character is someone almost anyone can relate to.
I like the story but otherwise it's just a walking simulator. Also the game just progressively gets worse after chapter 2.
It's Sonic 3 & Knuckles but the music took a nose dive. If you really want to play Sonic 3 & Knuckles on PC, just emulate it or get Sonic 3 AIR (or just wait until Origins comes out).

Sonic 1 is a game I like but I have to admit it sucks.This port just makes it playable.

It's like Super Mario Bros but it doesn't look awful and you can throw things.
