Pretty fun puzzler with sprite art as gorgeous as expected of Yacht Club games, a cast of characters with unique abilities to change up the game (or you could just pick Mole Knight for a much funner time with more control over the board) and a solid assortment of Shovel Knight tunes.

I do wish the main antagonist was different and there was a little more variance in the structure to depart it from Shovel Knight more but the new Knights are at least appreciated.

The Puzzle Rougelite structure of the game is as far as I can tell unique and can keep a player on their toes. Although I do wish the fatal health warning went off at 2 instead of 1, as sometimes I find myself bashing into an enemy as early as stage 1 and not realizing I only had 2 health left and that lead to more restarts than I would have liked.

Definitely a game I enjoyed playing!
