A really great co-op experience, even if I didn't exactly always follow my buddy VideoGameTim's advice, it was still fun figuring everything out with an experienced player of RE5. The story's a B movie plot and I know some people critiqued the whacky bullshit like motorcycle zombies but they can bug right off I love zombies on motorcycles.
It has all the -isms of a late 2000s game though, very brown and bloom, very turret sections, very cover shooter, stuff that was all the style at the time. While porting the game to PC it did not go unscathed, we managed to softlock ourselves once or twice, and a certain boss being tied to framerate made him nigh unbeatable without cheese.
All in all it's a solid fun time, just the port could have tweaked a few more little things.
Thankfully, I was absolutely the brains of the co-op operation, the cutscenes confirm it.
