The 30 hour prologue. A good cast of characters that are easily the highlight of the game (outside of its simplistic romance), some fun music (although more tracks could have been used) and a chibi artstyle which is cute but sometimes makes things more comedic than intended at times, a solid foundation of a grid based combat system.

It really needs a minimap at all times, and less trying to find which NPC you need to talk to to progress the plot, but for starting a series this is a good first step. Also incredibly slow, to where you basically need to hold the turbo button at all times. Hopefully it picks up the pace after that first step.
