Imagine being tasked to reimagine such a beloved game, as an employee the pressure would drive me nuts. Yet every level, animation, minute detail, dialogue makes me happy. Ok, some people are debating the dialogue but they added cool new lines that are omitted from discussion by diehard nostalgia doomers for some reason. Goofy one-liners still fit this more serious story I think, except this Leon clearly talks shit on occasions simply to cope.

This all stems from a pair of fresh eyes though, I actually left the original game to unceremoniously rot in my Steam library, oof. But with the brilliant decision of re-imagining the game, that means I can play the OG RE4 too and get a worthwhile experience. That's how RE4 fans should approach this remake as well.
