Obviously nowadays you're more likely to play HGSS, but this game still holds up pretty well. My main flaws with this game are the lack of Johto Pokemon that actually get used. You'd think there were only like 60-70 new ones instead of 100 since you never see like Misdreavous or Blissey for example. And some Johto pokemon are only found in Kanto! WHY?! The overall selection of mons feels more like Kanto + a few solid ones rather than a whole new region. Otherwise, great game but play the remake if you want peak Johto experience.
